io plays an essential role in identifying net zero pathways for projects, enabling clients to meet their net zero goals through the energy transition.

io recognises that climate change is real, and that the energy transition is upon us. We appreciate it will be a transition, rather than a step change; there is still significant energy poverty in the world and to address this we need to continue to develop secure-affordable-sustainable energy, the energy trilemma, and also hydrocarbons for conversion into useful, depended upon products i.e. fertilisers. 

io will continue to develop hydrocarbon projects albeit in a much less climate impactful way. io works with IOCs, NOCs and independents in the early stages (FEL 1 & 2) of developments in offshore environments such as platforms, FPSOs and subsea and onshore production and processing facilities including FLNG and LNG.
